A New Approach

The US Postal Service has been around for over 170 years. As print media has evolved, the art on stamps once coveted by collectors is now less visible than ever. As part of an ongoing STEM initiative with the USPS, we needed to find a way to showcase and convey the meaning behind the art on stamps, and to do so in a way that resonated with a new generation of stamp fans.

The Challenge

Create an exciting new way to get new generations of mail senders interested and engaged in stamps and the stories behind them.

The Solution

Showcasing newly released stamps, we created five custom animated VR experiences that teleported viewers into the scene depicted on the stamp.

Results

The Virtual Stamp Gallery was the most visited attraction at the Postal Service’s Great American Stamp Show booth. Audiences of all ages transported people from the show floor into a world filled with new learning experiences and art.
