Position Description

Are you passionate about the latest technology? Interested in shaping the direction of emerging platforms? Capitol Interactive is looking for an Associate Client Communications Specialist to enhance our client engagement and marketing efforts. In this vital role, you will manage client accounts, use feedback to improve our cutting-edge products, and create compelling content across various platforms. Your goal will be to build strong relationships and advance our position at the forefront of the XR industry through strategic communications and innovative marketing.

This is a hybrid/remote position based in DC/MD/VA area. While most responsibilities can be fulfilled remotely, some on-site work may be required for capturing video, client meetings, and special events.


  • Manage Client Accounts: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects are progressing smoothly. Regularly update clients on project milestones, address any concerns, and maintain strong, ongoing relationships to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Collaborate with External Stakeholders: Engage with external partners and stakeholders to gather and interpret client feedback. Translate this feedback into actionable insights and collaborate with internal teams to incorporate these insights into product features and improvements, ensuring the final product meets client expectations and market demands.

  • Create and Publish Marketing Content: Develop compelling marketing content, including written copy, graphics, and multimedia, tailored for various social media platforms. Maintain a consistent brand voice and enhance the company’s online presence by regularly publishing and promoting this content across social channels.

  • Support Marketing Strategy and Product Development: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to assist in crafting comprehensive marketing strategies. Contribute to the development and refinement of products by providing market insights, client feedback, and innovative ideas to ensure the products meet market needs and drive business growth.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of XR Technologies: Familiarity with virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and related technologies, with a keen interest in applying these in a business context.

  • Experience with Client Relationship Management: Experience managing client accounts and maintaining strong, lasting relationships.

  • Project Management Experience: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences and the ability to adapt to changing requirements is a must.

  • Proficiency in Digital Marketing and Social Media Platforms: Ability to create and publish engaging content tailored for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok

  • Strong Writing, Design & Content Creation Skills: Ability to produce clear, persuasive, and original content, including written articles, blog posts, and visual media. 

  • Analytical Skills: Comfort with data analysis tools and metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication and marketing campaigns.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field  ia preferred)
